Perverted Friends
Dear Guidance Guy,
My friends are always being perverted and rude. You can't have a normal conversation with them because they think nasty things about everything you say. I could say "I like bananas" and they get all giggly. Sometimes, I do the same, but not all the time. Only when I need a laugh. Then, when I want some advice on something, like a guy or school, my friends look at me and say something stupid. Like, let's say I asked my friend Taylor what I can do about my crush, then she would say "Smack him on the ground and say 'You're mine' " when I need serious help!

I hate to say this, but you and your friends are not on the same page on some important things. Apparently you're growing up faster than they are. You may have outgrown them - at least for now.
It's possible to have different kinds of friends. You can be silly and giggly with your "perverted" friends. It sounds like fun every once in a while. But I'd look somewhere else for advice and conversations on the important stuff. Is there anyone else your friendly with that thinks differently? If not, joining a club with more mature people or even trying to make friends with someone a little bit older than you (only a little) may be a good idea.
