Cute Guy in Band
Dear Guidance Guy,
I'm in band and I like this one guy who plays percussion. I think he likes me but I'm not really sure. But he's so cute and perfect, and I don't know how to talk to him, but I want him to know that I'm interested, so what should I do?

Dear Shelby,
Try waiting until no one else his around, then tell him he's a good percussion player. Or talk about something that both of you know about. Whatever piece the band is doing might be a good start. Anything you have in common would be great.
And here's one more idea. Everyone has a favorite subject to talk about: themselves. Ask him something about himself, then really listen to his answer. Ask him nice questions about himself. If he's interested, he may ask you about yourself. It could be a good start to a really nice friendship - or more.
