Luke, I Am Your Friend
Dear Guidance Guy,
There's this girl in my grade who annoys me and my friend, Luke, but he said she liked us (he has a crush on her). I don't think that. She hated me for 7 years straight! But Luke countered "there's somthing called 'change-of-heart.'"
I'm thinking this HAS to end! It's been going on for three weeks now. And now she has him controlled. She was cheating on him, but he didn't care. I told him to break up with her and he said I was jealous. Now he doesn't talk to me.
What should I do?

Dear Confused,
It doesn't matter if she likes you or not, because she annoys you. Therefore she isn't someone you'd want to go out with anyway! So don't worry about her possibly liking you. She isn't your type.
Luke needs to find things out for himself. The only way that happens is for him to make his own mistakes and learn from them. The easiest way for him to not learn (and for you to lose a friend) is to give him advice. He won't hear it from you. Besides, it's possible you may not be right! Let ME give the adivce! That's what I'm here for.
Be a friend to Luke and let him live his own life, including the mistakes. Once he sees you backing off, he'll probably start talking to you again.
Thanks for your letter,
The Guidance Guy
