Walk Before You Run
Dear Guidance Guy,
There is this girl. She is in none of my classes and I don't know how she even knows me!! She is really nice but do you think I should go out with her?

One step and time, my friend. Why don't you see if she knows you first before you think about going out with her? Try thinking of a reason to talk with her first. Asking about homework won't work, since she's not in your classes.
See if someone you know knows her and what she's interested in. Then you can try and start a conversation with her. I'd hold off on the heavy duty stuff like "going out" for a while. If you walk up to her and ask her out, she may hit you with her purse, or at least look at you funny.
