Crush The Crush!
Help me Guidance Guy,
Have you ever had a crush and you don't even want to have a crush on that guy -especially when it's a teacher? Help me get over this stupid crush.

Dear Cupid Phobia,
It's been a long time since I've had a crush on a teacher, and at the time, it wasn't a guy. But I know what you're saying.
Your crush isn't stupid. It's sweet. As long as you recognize it for what it is - a warm feeling for an older guy that won't go anywhere - don't worry about it. If it keeps you from enjoying other parts of being a kid, then start being concerned.
This might help...all of us, including teachers (even good looking ones) go to the bathroom, get gas when we eat the wrong foods, yell at people when we're in bad moods, have boogers come out at bad times, and have "bed head" when we wake up in the morning. Put some of those pictures in your head. That might help a little.
