Dear Guidance Guy,

There is this girl that I like and want to ask out but I have no
idea how. She likes this kid I know, but she always laughs at
my jokes and she and her friend think I am hilarious. I really
want to go out with her. Any advice or recomendations?

Dear Heartbroken,

One good way to let her know you like her is to do little things
for her. Flowers or a note left somewhere for her is a good idea
(not in public so you don't embarrass her). You can write a funny
note - slipped inside her locker - that turns romantic at the end.
These are all good things because it slowly brings up the
relationship, which is how most of the best ones start.

And one other option: you can just come out and tell her the truth.
Of course she may not feel the same way and then you might
get your feelings hurt.

It's not an easy situation no matter what, but all of us go through
it. Looks to me like you're a good guy who will do well in your love
life, even if it's not with this girl.
